A picture of Old Baptist chapel The Old Baptist Chapel in Tewkesbury Looking down one of Tewkesbury's many alley ways. The black and white timber-framed building on the left is the old Baptist Chapel which was in use until 1805. Originally a family dwelling the building was adapted into a place of worship in the belief that religion should be centred around the family and home as opposed to the monumental churches and rather impersonal clergy.
