A picture of Brighton Brighton Royal Pavillion This breathtaking sea-side residence was built for King George IV, and was also used by his brother William IV and their niece Queen Victoria. The neo-classical villa was created in 1787 by architect Henry Holland on the site of a farmhouse. Then, between 1815 and 1822 it was transformed into its current Indian style by John Nash. This beautiful Regency Palace is totally stunning throughout and is a must visit when visiting Brighton. If you have any photographs of the interior, please send them in and we will put them on our site with credits to the photographer. Many thanks. This picture appears in the following picture tours: |
