Tickford Bridge – The oldest working Iron Bridge in Europe This bridge was built in 1810 and is, I believe, The oldest cast iron bridge still carrying a full traffic load anywhere in the world. It was cast in Rotherham and transported down to Newport Pagnell by barge and road, quite a feat really in 1810.
