Description

Winterland, Worksop, Nottinghamshire

These were taken on the day that Rime Ice settled on my surrounding countryside. Rime is a white or milky and opaque granular deposit of ice formed by the rapid freezing of supercooled water drops as they impinge upon an cold exposed object. They look like snow but it is ice and looks beautiful.
