Thought to be the Birth and Burial Place of the Anglo-Saxon King Harold, the Last true King of the English. His remains are now claimed to lie in Bury St Edmunds

Another view of Bosham Church Tower [Anglo-Saxon] The remains of King Canutes daughter are buried in the Church. Contrary to popular myth Canute did not try to stop the tide from coming in. He did this to demonstrate to the locals that no man is greater than God.
