Photograph of the miners memorial to the 38 men and boys who lost their lives in the Montagu view pit disaster Scotswood, Newcastle upon Tyne on March 30th 1925. and 32 of the miners are interred in the enclosed space at elswick cemetery Newcastle upon Tyne. Also remembering all other miners and all the armed forces the men and women who gave their lives for their country so we could all live in peace and on day we'll meet again in a beautiful garden of sunshine beyond the stars where we'll find no more suffering nor tears and all are free from pain for the lord said be not afraid for i am with you always.
