Coming into Truro by boat through the lock gates and the boat has to follow a virtual slalom course to avoid grounding on the sandy bottom. The vista though with Truro Cathedral dominating the city is superb.

Truro War Memorial

The memorial is found in Boscowan Street, the names of the fallen from WW1 and WW2 are listed as well as one from the Falklands War and also the Afghanistan conflict.
