The Official 'Unofficial' POE Meeting House If any POE members are considering a meet up they could well think of choosing the King's Arms in Hawkshead Cumbria. A great little pub in a wonderful and photogenic village that is virtually car free. Dave John and myself enjoyed a Monday lunchtime earlier, having a slurp and putting the world to rights. Yellow Lines in Hawkshead ? The alleys and tiny streets of Hawkshead are a wonder to see and so quaint, but why oh why have they spoiled this one with yellow lines?
