The Cottage and the Castle

One last shot here at the White Castle and we see here the close proximity of the castle and the cottage from a previous picture. The public footpath was the only way I saw to the cottage and round the castle come to that.

The Cottage in the Woods

I could get to see two sides of the White Castle from a footpath/lane and facing the Castle on one corner is this cottage. I could not see any road access to the cottage- only this lane which could get well muddy in rainy times I would reckon. The back of the cottage faced out on miles of countryside- some location eh?

The Castle in the Wood

This is The White Castle and it was on our list to go and see, however we could only get to it on one occasion en route from one accommodation to another- guess what ? It does not open on a Monday! So a wander around a very leafy lane gave me a chance to grab a few shot of two sides of the Castle, a view over the countryside and a cottage in countryside with no road to it. ( pic to follow )
