Neptune's Fountain At the southern end of the Municipal Office Gardens on the Promenade is Neptune's Fountain which was designed by Joseph Hall, and constructed by R.L. Boulton and Sons in 1892. Imperial Gardens, the Gustav Holst Fountain Gustav Holst (1874-1934) probably best known for his "Planets Suite" was born in Cheltenham. This statue by Anthony Stones was unveiled on 4 April 2008.
