Yes, they showed the satellite photo on our national newscast tonight of your white and pleasant land.  The British Isles are totally covered in snow, which I reckon is a pretty rare occurence.

Oh what an hour or two does to the UK weather. Well, were not exactly out of the woods yet but its started to thaw slowly and we are expecting just -2 tonight so things appear to be getting better. The forecast seems okay for the middle of next week so for the one lady here in the forum who will be watching eagerly, its going to be okay by the 25th! Yippeee!

IF the 25th brings good things.....then today is 24th....see you in the morning !

Otherwise....I have more of the white stuff, altho, it is starting to melt a bit....will be getting some fishies to play in the streets soon, as the snow will melt and give us lots of water in the street. Fishies love water...so the match up should be magnificent! Fish Fry Friday !  LOL

Well it wasn't too bad in Wheatley, Oxford overnight Beth. Certainly didn't get more than a dusting of snow so looking for things to improve from hereon.

No additional snow during the night, and , in fact, we had a meltdown! It almost feels like the twilight zone....went to be with lots of snow and woke up to lots of water and NO snow.... We're having a "heat wave..a tropical heatwave"  LOL.....I wish.
