I've never seen that on the BBC, so it CAN'T be true, Denzil.  I think you're pullin me leg.  Try the question before it, about school uniforms.

Oh, dear, the double entendre again.  Forget about Mrs. T for a minute, Denzil.  Did you grow up in Redruth and did you wear a uniform to school when you were a lad?

It's not the one your wearing is it Denzil? (I hope not!)  The boys wore caps in my day, and yes Ruth School uniforms are worn in most schools here, I think its a good idea cos the kids cant try to outdo each other then with their everyday clothing. I hated the berets us girls had to wear, did Mrs T wear one of those Denzil?

Ruth,

As you seem to have difficulty getting a straight answer on the uniform question from Mr Tregallion; I can confirm that I wore uniform when I attended school in Bodmin. Back in the 50's, most schools were the same.

Nowadays? Some do, some don't.

I hope that answers your question

Denzil, your uniform....Was it covered in little black arrows?

Hi Lyn - Hi Ray:  Top o the morning.  Finally, a straight answer.  Thanks, Ray.  Lyn, did you have to wear a tie?  Denzil, did your hat have one of those little whirlygigs on it?

That reminds me, it isn't top o the morning here yet, and I'll be toast tomorrow if I don't sign off soon.  Seeya!
