I think I have got it now. Your uniform was, if I recollect, a large white canvas top with extra long sleeves but no hand holes, which was secured with leather straps down the back, and the sleeves tied in criss cross fashion across the front. I remember some people though it a bit restrictive, but it had a certain amount of 'street Cred'. People crossed over the road when they saw you coming.

Not as far as I know Denzil. I used to work as a groom at a riding stable and in return was given riding lessons. I used to fall off a lot.
