Welcome, Nelson, I've been away for a bit and just read all your posts. I do hope you'll join in on the forums. POE is a wonderful site of beautiful photos and very friendly people. Your introduction was very interesting and your English is excellent, much better than you give yourself credit for! It's very nice to meet you and hope to "talk" to you again on POE.

Dear James and Ron:

Firstly, I didn't even know what "banter" was; so I had to look at the dictionary to learn its meaning. Besides, from the place I come from, there is a proverb that says, roughly translating from Portuguese into English - and for that reason I am not sure that it would be easily understood: "A bull at another's pasture, becomes a cow!". But I'll keep trying, anyway ...

Cheers to you!

Dear Brenda:

Thanks for your kind welcome. In fact I have already noticed how friendly people all of you are; but that, I think, is a fantastic characteristic of all people descending from Britons and Anglo-Saxons? I hope to be able to participate on all the "talkings" around here. It was nice meeting you too!

Thanks, Karen for welcoming me. I have been travelling for the last five days, but from now on I will be attentive again not to loose anything else. As I said to everybody if I can be of any help concerning things from Brazil, do not hesitate, just ask for help.

HI, Gonul! Actually, I have to thank you for my being here. POE is a very nice place to belong to. Thank you.

My dear James: It took me some time to get it, because Pelé had some visits. Go to the link below and explain to your friends that "James", in Portuguese, is "Julio".

To all my new friends from POE, don't forget that you are four hours ahead of us here in Brazil. Now it's 10:12 in the morning here. Cheers!
