Reading City Centre. Berkshire

Reading is a town not a city. Although there have been many fanciful attempts to elevate its status to that of a city, Reading is to date a town. The visitor could be forgiven for making this mistake, since for a short time some of the bus destination boards announced 'city centre', in a sort of mad delusion.
