Free private on-site parking is available and Goring and Streatley Rail Station is only a mile away. The Ridgeway, an ancient trail described as the UK’s oldest road is just 450 feet from the hostel and is a great starting point for bike rides and walks. Beale Wildlife Park and Gardens is within 3 miles of the hostel and the Living Rainforest, an indoor tropical greenhouse, is just 5 miles away. YHA Streatley is conveniently located between Reading, Swindon and Oxford. Reading can be reached within 30 minutes, while Swindon and Oxford are less than an hour’s drive. Central London is just over an hour away by car or by train. The hostel’s room sizes vary from private twin bedrooms to large dormitories. Guests can take advantage of the common lounge and dining areas, as well as the communal kitchen.
