NOW THAT'S A HOOTER !!!

This is the most Southerly point on the U.K. mainland and this is the Lizard Lighthouse- only what we are looking at are the foghorns. Do not advise standing beside these when in action !

Interesting shot of some old brute-force fog horns. I see the horns are positioned on crossed axes at 90 degrees. I assume they sound out sequentially rather than simultaneously, to avoid the risk of a 'dead zone' in the centre, but you would destroy your hearing if you got close enough to find out for certain.
