About Penwithick

Penwithick enjoys a peaceful valley location close to the resort town of St.Austell. It is within easy reach of the Eden Project and a short distance from Carlyon Bay, Par Sands, Polkerris and Menabilly which has associations with Daphne du Maurier.

The village lies on the edge of rolling moorland, it has a pleasant mix of old and modern properties, a shop which serves as a general store and post office, a church and plenty of nearby leisure facilities.

The region has a wide choice of holiday accommodation, thus this makes an ideal place to stay for those seeking a quieter alternative to busy St.Austell. The historic port of Charlestown with its scenic harbour, and apart from the world renowned Eden Project there are several other beautiful gardens to explore including the stunning Lost Gardens of Heligan.
