About St Just in Roseland

This is a little place that is every bit as enchanting as its name, for many varieties of beautiful flowers grow here in great profusion. There are not just roses but camellias and rhododendrons, together with a rich variation of rare tropical plants growing on the slopes that surround the ancient 13th-century church in its glorious position that overlooks St.Just's creek.

When the sea retreats it reveals a beach of shingle. The coastal waters all along here are excellent for surfing and for sailing. Colourful boats can be seen making their journey from the creek to the open sea beyond. St.Just-in-Roseland is not far from Truro and is a lovely relaxing area that is enjoyable at anytime of year.
