The earliest landscaped park in Cornwall, Mount Edgcumbe Country Park is also home to Mount Edgcumbe House; the former home of the Earls of Mount Edgcumbe. Set in superb Grade I Cornish Gardens within 865 acres Country Park on the Rame Peninsula, South East Cornwall, overlooking Plymouth Sound and the river Tamar.
There are 50 listed buildings within the park, a bronze age burial mound dating 1200BC, a small fort dating c 1545, a folly, and lots of other historic buildings and features to see, making Mount Edgcumbe House & Park a great day out for all the family.
