The family-run Altonlea Lodge is housed in a well-restored, listed building. It opens onto a South-facing, Italian-style garden. The Altonlea's 2 buildings are connected by a loggia, a glass hall which opens onto the garden. Traditional rooms have a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, and either a private or shared bathroom. Hartlepool’s Marina and Shopping Center are just a 5-minute drive away and you can also visit the historic quay. The historic city of Durham, Beamish Museum and the Metro Center are within 30 miles of the property.
