Low Coppice tree

A lone tree totally devoid of leaf standing proud on the slopes of Low Coppice, maybe a mile north of Ambleside on the track leading to High Sweden Bridge, Scandale and Fairfield.

A fine picture Dave and by the size of the trunk I would guess the tree goes back a year or few.
