Rothay Park Ambleside

After the mornings early wander down to Windermere and the boats Kate had arrived around 11.00 am so after a quick break off we went on a short stroll up to Rydal Water and back. Heading off out through Rothay Park just next to the church, the western ridge of the Fairfield Horseshoe in the distance includes the peaks of Lord Crag, Heron Pike and Great Rigg. 22.7.14
