About The Old School and Betty's B&B

Located within the picturesque Western Lake District National Park, The Old School and Betty's is an adults-only B&B featuring a garden and patio area with views of the nearby fells. Free on-site parking is also available to all guests. Views of the fells, rear garden or Wasdale Valley can be enjoyed from each room at The Old School and Betty’s, along with a flat-screen TV with DVD player, and an en suite power shower. The one-bedroom cottage also comes with a fully equipped kitchen. A full English or continental breakfast is served in the garden room and can be served outside in the warmer months. Guests also benefit from a 10% discount on food at a local pub and tearoom. Rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking can all be enjoyed in the Lake District, and the nearest beach can be found 6 miles away in the ancient port of Ravenglass. The property has a beautiful setting on a quiet country lane. High-level walks can be taken in Wastwater and Wasdale Head, which are a 20-minute drive away.
