Yes you're right, though it wasn't intentional. We had driven the Honister Pass and somehow made a wrong turn in Buttermere and returned back to Grange via Newlands Valley(at least I didn't have to worry about driving on the left since it was such a narrow road!). Thanks for comment, Dave.
That is a road?! it looks no wider than a path, not sure i would even do it on the bike! although for the views on a day as this it might just be worth it
Karen I put live video of the drive on Facebook and it scared some of my friends. I had to pull to the side to allow an oncoming car pass. I much preferred this to driving in London(and some of the roundabouts).
