About West House Farm Cottages

A warm welcome awaits you at West House Farm Cottages. Situated between Cockermouth and Maryport, midway between the Lake District National Park and the Solway Coast our luxury self catering accommodation offers you the best of both worlds - lakes and mountains to the south and east and sandy beaches and unspoilt coastline to the west.

Our modern dairy farm sits in the heart of the open countryside and has an abundance of widlife and views to both the Scottish and Lakeland fells. The Gem market Town of Cockermouth is just 3 miles away with a wide array of shops, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions.

To complement our established Bendale Cottage, we have created two new barn conversions, Little Meadow and The Old Byre in the courtyard at West House Farm. This large courtyard offers private, safe and secure parking and is separated from the working farm by a 17th century bank barn. Guests at the Old Byre can enjoy 5 star living with the added bonus at the end of the day of relaxing in the luxurious Jacuzzi Hot Tub.

Our cottages are non smoking and regrettably we are unable to accommodate pets.
