Lakes Lodge is a family-run B&B set in a traditional 19th-century stone building located in the center of Windermere Village. The Lake District National Park and Lake Windermere are only a 5-minute drive from the hotel. Free parking is available on site. All the rooms come with private bathroom, a TV, hairdryer, small refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast is served in the cozy dining room and is cooked to order. Continental and vegetarian options are also available. Dinner can be reserved by the hotel at a recommended local restaurant. World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is only 1.2 mi from the hotel. Lake Windermere tours can be arranged in advance and operate from on site. Bowness and Windermere Lake are just 15 to 20 minutes walk from this B&B. Minibus sightseeing tours of the Lake District can be arranged, visiting Hill Top, Dove Cottage and Hawkshead where you can see Beatrix Potter's gallery and William Wordsworth's school.
