Chee Dale is an extremely picturesque winding gorge along the river Wye and is a popular spot in the Peak District amongst climbers. The area is beautiful and is a popular spot for walkers, but please take care when the river is high or in poor weather as it can become dangerous. Look out for the stepping stones that hug the overhanging limestone cliffs when the river is low during the summer.
