About The Farmhouse

Surrounded by views of the Peak District, The Farmhouse at Mackworth is set just 9 minutes’ drive from the city of Derby. A converted 18th century farmhouse, it has a bar, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Each of the rooms has an private bathroom with either a walk-in shower or shower over the bath. They also have bed linen, towels, bathrobes, White Company toiletries, a hairdryer, flat screen TV, Nespresso coffee machine and tea/coffee making facilities. The pub has a garden area and terrace. The kitchen is open for lunch and dinner serving fresh wood-wired pizzas, Josper-cooked premium steaks and British classics. The bar serves a selection of wines, spirits, real ales and cocktails. Just 29 minutes’ drive from The Farmhouse is Donington Park Racing Circuit. For shopping, Westfield Derby indoor shopping center is a 9-minute car journey away. Alter Rock Climbing Wall is also a short 11 minutes’ drive from the hotel.
