Located on the banks of the River Derwent, Cedar House offers bed and breakfast accommodations with easy access to the Peak District. Free parking is possible on site, and free WiFi can be accessed throughout the property. Cedar House offers a homely, relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are decorated in neutral tones, and each bed has a memory foam mattress. All rooms are en suite, and all come complete with a TV and DVD player, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served daily in the dining room and includes a full English, a lighter Continental breakfast and fresh seasonal fruits. Vegetarian and special diets can be catered for on request. Local eateries are within a 5 minute walk of the property, in central Matlock. The Peak District’s walking and cycling trails are just a couple of miles from Cedar House. Hall Leys Park is a short walk across the river, and Matlock train station is 1,300 feet away.
