Ice House, Calke Abbey

Not like the usual Ice House that is similar to a well, this unconventional house has two large rooms, at one end a chute and in the ceiling a hole both used for filling up the house with ice, there is a door at the front but, not sure how the ice was collected when needed, as the door would freeze shut from the inside and in the winter was covered in snow.
