About Goodrington

One of the treasures of Tor Bay, Goodrington Sands has half a mile of golden beach and all the atmosphere of a typical English sea-side resort. This is a place that has plenty to keep every member of the family occupied. Quay West Water Park has water rides and go-karts, the Paignton to Dartmouth Heritage Steam line runs close by and there is a nearby Coastal Marine Centre. Add to this a beach-side pub, beautiful walks amid exotic plants and flowers, swimming, boating on the lake or sea, and there is not much more anyone could want for the perfect family holiday.

Away from the beach both Brixham and Paignton are but a short distance away, both offer excellent shopping facilities, first class restaurants, fish and chips, and quality entertainment. Brixham has a museum, there is a zoo in Paignton, together with a sea-life centre and glorious gardens. The River Dart is within easy reach and there are heaps of lovely little villages to be explored along the coast and in the hinterland beyond the shore where you can find enjoyable cafe's serving scrumptious Devonshire cream teas.
