The White Mill is an attraction in the delightful village of Sturminster Marshall.
The cornmill occupies a site recorded in the Doomsday Book on which it was extensively rebuilt in 1776. Its rare 18th-century timber machinery is now to fragile to be operated.
White Mill, was most recently restored in 1994. It is owned and operated by the National Trust, for the benefit of the nation and is well worth seeing.
