Parish Church of St. Peter, Upper Slaughter

The village of Upper Slaughter in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds is one mile away from Lower Slaughter and resides on a gentle grassy slope above the stream that connects the two villages. Once the village was dominated by a Norman castle but all that can be seen of it today are the remains of the motte and bailey.

Rather too much correction on the verticals.

Comment by Edward Lever(23rd April 2019)

Stephen raises an interesting point. The dreaded effect of converging verticals is a perennial problem for pictures of tall buildings. Often it is felt desirable to do some perspective correction in the editing program, but there is a danger of overcooking the correction. It is a matter of personal taste, but sometimes a more natural look can be achieved with a gentler touch.
