About Alresford

Alresford is a market town in Hampshire, just north-east of the City of Winchester and south-west of the town of Alton, which it is linked to by the Mid Hants Watercress Railway – a steam heritage railway.

The town is famed for its production of Watercress and in May each year it hosts the Watercress Festival which attracts thousands of visitors annually to this wonderful little town.
