This is Dorset's largest Country Park at nearly 600 acres and is an area of Site of Special Scientific Interest. The park is dominated by heather, pine trees and birch woodlands and is a place where you can spot lots of rare and exciting wildlife including Sand Lizards, Smooth Snakes, Dartford Warblers, Woodlark and Silver-studded Blue. A great day out for families and people with a wide range of interests. There is a visitor centre, gift shop, cafe, children's playground, car park, and toilets, which are all open throughout the year. Highly recommended.
