An excellently sharp shot. I don't know which make of lens was used, but the results are outstanding for such a long focal length.

Hi Edward. I was using a Canon 100-400 L series Lens set at 8.0 using aperture priority. AV. I have found using AV @ 8.0 produces a much sharper picture. Hope this helps. Graham

Thank you for the info, Graham. I was pretty certain it must have been a Canon 'L' series lens with Image Stabilisation. Not a cheap lens by any means, but a good investment. It is also compatible with full-frame Canon DSLRs if you should go that way in the future.
