What an interesting structure! I thought could it be some Italian campanile? but no, this is Grimsby. I love our industrial heritage and it prompted me to check out what it is.......It is a hydraulic accumulator tower which was used to provide high pressure water to operate the dock gates. It is good you take pictures of everything, Barbara, carry on the good work.

I like that you take pictures of a wide range of subjects, Barbara. The above image is a fine example of Victorian industrial architecture. It is a Grade I listed building and even gets a mention in Pevsner's 'Buildings of England'.
