Lonely poppy - in rememmbrance . In Poland 11th November is celebrated too ( as National Independence Day to commemorate the anniversary of Poland's resumption of independent statehood in 1918 after 123 years of partition by Russia, Prussia and Austria.)

The single red poppy against an out-of-focus background gives an almost 3-D effect, and is very relevant today.
