Featured in the Beatle’s music video ‘Free as a Bird’, this hostel is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the Grade II listed Philharmonic Hall. Set in a lovely Georgian Square, free public local parking is provided and free bread, coffee, tea, jam and lemonade are available throughout the day. A guided Beatles Liverpool/City walking tour is available from the hostel on Saturdays at 13:00. The tour lasts for 2 hours and includes admission to the world famous Cavern Club. The tour costs GBP 10 (children free). The guide Kevin Snr. has seen the Beatles live in the city many times, before they became famous. Bars, restaurants and shops line Hardman Street, which is just a 10-minute walk away. Seel Street’s lively clubs and bars are within 15 minutes’ walk of Embassie Backpackers. Liverpool Lime Street Rail Station is located in the city center and is 20 minutes’ walk away. Sky and ESPN sports channels are shown in the bar and there is a communal kitchen area for guests to use. All bedrooms have wooden flooring and shared bathrooms.
