Bessie Bradock, Lime Street Station, Liverpool.

Tom Murphy's sculpture of Bessie Braddock. She was an iconic local member of Parliament in the 50s and 60s. Seen here in the concourse of Liverpool's Lime Street Station. She is holding an egg. Often she shared a couple of boiled eggs with Ken Dodd as they made the journey to London Euston.

Interesting shot and description. I always suspected politicians were mentored by Ken Dodd, now I know it's true.
