There is a footpath leading directly from the back of the property across fields or country lanes to Ranworth, which offers a pub, visitor's center and church known as the Cathedral of the Broads. Woodforde's Broadland Brewery is just 2 miles away and Great Yarmouth can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Seal spotting can be enjoyed at Horsey Beach, which is just under 16 miles from the property. The unspoiled beach of Winterton Dunes National Nature Reserve is 30 minutes away by car.
