Located half a mile from the small village of Swinithwaite, in rural Wensleydale, Temple Farm House features elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi, free parking, and views of the surrounding countryside. The property was originally built on the site of a medieval preceptory of the Knights Templar Order, and retains many unusual & historic features. Two bedrooms are en-suite and one has a private bathroom. All rooms have a TV with DVD player, a seating area, tea/coffee making facilities. There is also a ground floor room with disability access and a fireplace. A traditional breakfast is served daily and it is made of locally sourced produce. The historic village of Bolton, featuring a medieval fortress, is 5 miles from the property. Guests can also enjoy outdoor activities such as walking, horse riding and cycling.
