Nestled in the peaceful village of Malham in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, YHA Malham is located next to numerous fantastic walking and cycling routes. Free parking is available, and the famous Gordale Scar is just a 15-minute walk away. You can relax in the hostel’s own garden, or in its TV room and lounge. Guests can make use of an on-site shop, a self-catering kitchen, and laundry facilities. Seen in the Harry Potter films and used for training for the 1953 Everest Expedition, impressive Malham Cove is only 5 minutes’ walk away. The 900-year old Skipton Castle is located 25 minutes away by car, and you can catch the Settle-Carlisle steam railway 15 minutes’ drive away. Cyclists can make use of cycle storage and a drying room, and the hostel is located near to the scenic Pennine Way and Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way routes. Guests can also follow the nearby path along the stream to Janet’s Foss Waterfall.
