The unveiling of the Helper Memorial Day,A helper was the affectionate term for the men and women who gave their time and services,(sometimes with a tragic outcome),to the allied troops in WW2, in Nazi occupied europe.They helped the likes of downed pilots, escapees, and paratroopers to reach the borders to safety.They deserve our utmost gratitude and respect.
