About The Bridge Inn

On the banks of the River Swale in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, this 13th-century former coaching inn offers freshly prepared, homemade food and light rooms with flat-screen TVs. Free parking is available, and Richmond is less than 10 miles away. With scenic views of the Yorkshire Dales and Grinton village, each room at The Bridge Inn includes an private bathroom. A TV and free tea and coffee are provided for guests relax with, and free Wi-Fi is available in some rooms. Full English breakfasts are available each morning and The Bridge Inn rears its own pigs, cures the bacon and makes the black pudding. Using local produce such as fresh fish from Hartlepool and fresh vegetables and eggs from Hawes, the restaurant serves creative and hearty dishes and a range of home-made puddings and award-winning real ales. Beautiful walking and cycling trails can be enjoyed throughout the surrounding countryside of Swaledale. The Dales Bike Center is just 5 minutes’ walk down the road, offering bike hire and cycle tours.
