Though a common image I guess, it was our first visit to Whitby & you must climb the 190 or so steps to see this magnificent ruin while you are there don't you? July 2014

I don't worry much about taking 'me-too' type of pictures. First and foremost we all take pictures to please ourselves; it is a bonus if anyone else likes them. Take the 'classic' shot and then perhaps look around for something a bit different. This may be a classic shot but it is still a good one.
