Iwould like to know if anyone has any further information on the Forest family. I have found a John Forest D.O.B 1745 who married a Martha Acton on the 14th September,1776. I have found Martha Acton's parents, John Acton and Elizabeth Bracegirdle but no parenst for John Forest, can anyone help me please. |

De Acton stayed the family name for a number of generations before being altered to just, Acton. Bracegirdle is an unusual name, and following it back leads to John Bracegirdle, b. 1558 Mobberly, Cheshire. I think the OP, Gill, has done a lot of research into these family lines in this thread.
