Not really sure what this is, frost on a window sill?? Taken on a mobile phone. Like the idea of the frost but to get a really good photo in this instance, against the light, through glass by the looks of it is far from easy. But the main thing is you have tried, so well done for that. I keep saying this but get out and take pictures, you will learn more by doing that than reading the manual, although you should do that as well ofcourse.
If you had called this "Sun flare" it would have suited your picture better, because that is what is in focus. It is in fact an excellent flare!! If you wanted frost then you need to focus on that, I suspect you were trying to do what we all do at some stage, trying to get too much in the pic!!
