Now you are getting your pictures much better, how about a bit of a description of what you have photographed. What is that above? A moth cocoon?
as far as iknow its a moth or butterfly cocoon growing on a fennel plant, im going to take more pics as it changes.
Much better again!! However this would possible benefit from a narrower aperture to get a bit more of the subject in focus. This will be done by shorteing the shutter speed ie 1/500 down to 1/100 or increasing the apperture f3.5 upto f8 and this should be explained in the manual, but definitely improving, keep it up. Lets see if you can hit 4's consistently and hopefully a 5 or two. And yes please tell us more about the subjects.
